Its always hilarious every time Quest mentions this album on Questlove Supreme. Quest basically said no matter what direction he wanted to go in, Al was gonna do Al Solid fukking album though. Al and Quest did their thing

Wonder why he stopped. I know they did a follow up with Betty Wright (R.I.P.) and he was tryna get in and do one with Bill Withers. The plan was to get all the legendary old school artists and do a whole album with them. First up was al then Betty then they just stopped
