So today we had plans to go to a movie with a homie of mine.. Me n my girl work together at the same place n an argument happened which resulted in her canceling completely n saying she's not going at all...

- I work with her 5 days a week for 8 hours n see her almost the whole time at work

-due to school n her schedule we usually spend every weds together, and then sometimes Friday n she almost always spends the night on Saturday

-we've been dating since sept, but we've been official for a month now...

The staying connected to your friends is a challenge any men in a relationship has to go through, it's 100% wrong to dead your friends but at he same time you have to stay connected to your girl. Your friends will understand this at the first part of your relationship but don't be ashamed to make time for your friends. Because sadly, if you break up, your girl isn't going to be there for you, your friends will always be there for you.

Don't feel guilty for hanging out with your friends every now and then, I'm not saying hang out with them everyday and all the time and thing but every now and then you need to because they are your friends. You need to set that precedent early in your relationship that you still have friends and still need to bond with them. I used to feel guilty for hanging out with my friends sometimes but now I know it's for the best, they are MY friends and will always be there for me and also your girlfriend will respect you more, and she will miss you more.

I say that's cool but you owe me and she says I know. So I'm talkin to her today and she's like so lets do somethin on your next day off, and I'm thinkin she's gonna make it up by cookin for me but it seems like she wants me to take her out and shyt. I wouldn't mind that but a nikka just paid his last tuition installment and I got like $2.17 in my account (forreal im broke than a bytch). I ask her what she wanna do, she says "I'm not picky" and I say yeah right im gonna need some ideas and now she hasn't hit me back yet. I am actually thinking about picking up some type of acting/improv class just to improve being in random conversations, I'm thinking that should help A) improve me as a person, and B) help me meet some different, non developer people. Right?

BTW I'm in NJ, so if there are specific spot in NJ or NYC, let me know.

That's pretty cool. After a couple days he starts actually having conversations and not just only getting his rejections. I like some of those. I probably couldn't pull off the soccer in the stranger's backyard though. I'm a black male between the height of 5'2 and 6'8, lol.
