City/govt jobs are great but hard as hell to get. Especially while being in your 20s.

It's a stressful job and it's hard on the body, but yeah the pay and pension is decent. I say being a train conductor is better. You deal with a different class of people and it's easier and you probably get paid more.

my homeboy who drives the bus in NYC is making good money and will buy a house soon.

alot of the buses down here are completely computerized.... but I don't know about the shoulder issues, i didnt think the steering wheel was that tough.

I was a bus driver for a day, they make decent money and have great benefits.

A few people that I know that drive the bus start to develop back issues.

You never want to develop back or knee issues that's lifetime pain.
