I honestly do not want to take a QB this draft, but the next two classes are going to be special.

Build all the pieces around the QB this draft. So many good WR’s, RB’s and Guards (and some Tackles who’ll make elite Guards).

Ewers feels like excels with the right team type of player.

That's one of the teams. Definitely can see them taking Ewers late in the first round.

Most likely wait for the next two years to have a better QB in a deeper draft.

Not many other teams need a QB right now honestly and teams drafting QB this year most likely won’t be drafting one the year after in the stacked class.

If I’m the Rams, I go OL with my earlier picks to keep protection for Stafford and get it ready for the young QB they draft next year or the year after. I don’t think you waste your early pick this year when there are really good IOL, defenders and weapons at that range.

I think a more desperate team will take Ewers early.

8 mil for 1 year is equivalent to a 4 year guaranteed salary of a mid 2nd round pick

So Ewers is either very bold, very stupid, or he knows something fans/media do not :jbhmm:

Or that $8 million is total bullshyt and chalked full of incentives. I’d imagine it’s this one as I can’t see a college kid turning down that type of money.
