They traded away 2 All-Pros who were under the age of 28

Wilson better be on that chopping block too :mjlol:
Not sure who would bite on Wilson. Just signed a 130 million dollar deal with 90 guaranteed. What playoff team or thinks they will be a playoff team next year is looking for a number 1 receiver. Probably want at least a 1st and something else back to since that is what they got for Gardener and Williams.

They'd never do it but the GMEN need a WR to pair with Nabers

They trying to lose every game then :mjlol:

I don't know if there has ever been a bigger gap in ability at a position between Quinnen and Mazi. A dude who could be the best DT in football vs a dude who can't get on the field over 7th round rookies.
The Jets lack talent . I’ve been screaming this for a while. Something has to be done

I think the Jets are doing the right thing with these trades. It's very unlikely they are going to be competitive the next year or two, so you might as well just stockpile assets at this point. With the NFL being a year to year league for most teams, would it really shock anyone if the 2027 first round picks they acquired were top twenty picks?
Business 101 sell high. Google says the Jets rank 4th in fan attendance so they have a loyal fanbase. So why not shed salary, build through the draft and go from there. You now put yourself in position to get your franchise qb and other pieces.

What makes you think he can’t judge talent? The Jets lacking it before he got here isn’t his fault
That along with Darren Mougey’s plan. This is kinda how you want to start out as a GM, I would think.

Regardless of what people are saying about the upcoming Draft class, let’s see what the dude can do with all of this capital. It’s barely year 1.
