quit my job .. what a relief

never felt so happier.. money DOES NOT buy happiness.

worked for a telecom company .. was there for 5 years.. never went up.. was always berated by my bosses, but i needed the money. they paid crap, they treated their employees like crap, i was never liked .

finally today i had it. told my boss, i don't even want to give my 2 weeks notice. told him he's fukking scumbag and the whole company is trash and i'm out of here.

5 minutes later, the story was out company wide and my phone blew up from the employees telling me that i'm an inspiration for them and they will eventually quit when they get to my stage.

breh this was the ONLY thing that kept me from quitting.. but i have my degree.. i'm gonna chill for the next 2 weeks then start the job process. I've been thinking of pursuing my masters since new years anyway.

I really don't give a fukk. i rather be jobless than work for that company and do that shytty job. there comes a point in a mans life where you have to think about your future.. i thought about it, and this was the only solution..

again i don't give a fukk. sometimes you gotta make the tough decision. this wasn't a career job, this wasn't how i envisioned my life. i have passion, i have a goal and i have a dream of how i want my life and career to be. and this wasn't it.

i would recommend for ANYONe that is doing a dead end job, quit it and get out ASAP. i lost 5 years of my life working a dead end job. this wasn't a 9-5 job, this wasn't a career job, this was a soul sucking job that crushed everything. and it was time.

I did the same shyt last year except i went off on my boss , dudes was trying to calm me down and tell me just think about it. Showed up halfway through the shift thr next day slapped hands with everybody on the floor.
Boss cac was like you're quitting? I said fukk yea i don't take no shyt.
the one OG gave me the black fist, meant alot coming from him cause i really respected that guy
