Call centers entry level are bs, but if you play your cards right you can flip that into a management position that pays or easy girls as has been mentioned before.

I know dudes who started at the bottom and are pushing luxury whips now. Lots of better grinds out there though.

I got fired from my last one (Comcast telemarketing) because my manager was a man-hating lesbian. She put me on suspension where I still had to show up to work but couldn't take any calls/make any money and then went out of town. I went to the department manager who didn't know what was going on and used my two weeks paid vacation time that had just kicked in the day before. bytch came back to find out I was on vacay and still getting paid. :pachaha:
I came back after the two weeks and she fired me 5 minutes into my shift :bryan:
Your finesse game is skrong breh:myman:

Props bruh. I don't generally condone quitting jobs but that call center sh!t is definitely infinite bushes status. I worked at Toyota/Lexus Financial Services for years: benefits were dripping with gravy- 401k, decent health benefits, lease any car from a Corolla to an LS600 with no credit check and an option to buy..they build your car from scratch and the only time it sees a dealership is when it's delivered off the boat.......with all that being said....leaving that sh!t hole place felt like I rose from a coffin. I left to do free lance photography and my mind has been the clearest it's ever been in decades. Some jobs are almost made to be quit. But always set yourself up with an out by enrolling in whatever savings plan they offer (if they do). And always have a skill you can take care of yourself on.

Just going off what my sister and the Coli brehs are saying it sounds like call center jobs take a fierce toll on you mentally. My sister was making $15 an hour with benefits and unlimited OT at Netflix and left to work at Lowe's in the paint department making $10...she couldn't take it anymore. Sounds like the money, benefits and bytches wasn't enough to keep most of yall around either.

Ive had nightmares just about the sound of the phone ringing.

Ive went to work, walked up to the entrance and just said fukk it and drove home multiple times.

The job lulls you into massive complacency where you complain about being there all day but by the end of the day you're so drained from dealing with 50 people's shyt you don't have the energy to apply elsewhere.

Especially at a large account like a cable or ISP where calls come in back to back 24/7 365.

Ugh

You guessed right. It took me a while to see it because on paper it didn't seem like a job I should quit: strong brand, great benefits, 8 to 1 women to dude ratios in an easy to shine environment.....then you just wake up like "yo what is it worth?!!" Not my sanity.

Man, realist thread ever. It took a toll on me that I started to have panic attacks. I hung up the phone on a customer and went to my boss and quit. He was like :obama: I'm proud of you, you escaped. You had 40 year olds that been working there for 15 years and shyt. I did a year and bounced. You finish a call after getting cussed out for something you can't control and then u pick up another call within 5 seconds(:dahell:) and get cussed out again. It made me go back to school, that's how bad that shyt was.
