Negotiations on a contract extension for R.A. dikkey are the only thing holding up a trade between the New York Mets and Toronto Blue Jays, FoxSports.com has reported, citing unnamed sources.

An official involved in the trade discussions said 23-year-old Blue Jays catching prospect Travis d'Arnaud would be the centerpiece coming to New York in any deal.

Ugh i dont want to give up two upper tier prospects for a 38 yr old knuckleballer..AA is about to make a stupid trade for one season...

I dont even care if they get to the world series in 2013 its not worth givin away all these high calibre picks.The payoff for D'Arnaud and Syndegaard should be alot higher than RA dikkey...

hes had one great year,we have seen how up and down knuckleball pitchers are...stupid move by AA,i really hope dikkey doesnt accept the extension...Only thing that can save this dumb decision...
