lol, immature was hot in elementary school cuz us girls loved them, typical boy band shyt. but marques can't sing and can barely act. that said, they did/do have some amazing songs that i guarantee would be classics if they had been recorded by older/"serious" groups/singers (
constantly
never lie
sweetest love
pager
feel the funk
just a little bit
i don't mind
give up the ghost (bizzy ripped this)
i didnt take them seriously. i thought they were black 'new kids on the block' type singers. i couldnt tell you the name of one song from either of them.
the only young singer i considered a serious R&B singer was tevin campbell
I believe I was 18 years old when they changed their name to IMX and they dropped Feel The Funk so I really never messed with them cats but Yoooooooo! Feel The Funk and Give Up The Ghost with Bizzy Bone thems my shyts
They had some songs. I was never really a fan like that. "We Got It" was my favorite of theirs. I liked one of the songs when they were IMX. That "Clubbin" song was cool. Haven't really thought about that song until this thread.
"Stay The Night" was a classic middle school song to me, despite it's relative derivative sound in retrospect. I think their earlier work which I only heard much later has classic production, that very high quality Jodeci sound. I love Constantly and Extra Extra.
