The arrangement needs quite a bit of work.
Those strings are playing in a completely different tone/melody than the main synth.
The instruments you bring in later also suffer from the same thing.
Try to learn a few basic chords on the piano and keep things in the same key.
The drums are way too basic as well.
Keep at it though.
