i find these two subreddits so funny
R/BlackLadies: All the mods are women. The rules maintain that It is black woman centered. Racism is not allowed. Neither is homophobia, transphobia, etc etc.
Sea simple.
Now for r/Blackmen
More of the same. But somehow the lead mod is a black woman
. Who apparently does not verify most black men, and will take down any posts that challenge black women
And the community rules for both subreddits are interesting.
r/Blackladies emphasizes the point that is black woman centered.
r/Blackmen is all inclusive no mentions of centering black men.
R/Blackmen has a disclaimer screaming how much they support black woman and they should be accepted in all shapes and sizes and no misogyny or misogynior is allowed for ANY reason. And there is no talk about simping or pandering needed. And they don’t engage in any “toxic male discourse”
Surely, r/Blackwomen has those same rules right? You’d be wrong. No disclaimer about misandry. No disclaimer about viewing black men as human beings. No disclaimers to scream their support for black men. and no talk about “toxic female discourse”
And they are very anti pick me, which is just female simping. And obviously ZERO male mods, because why would you?
If this isn’t the perfect symbolism of the black community
I think a bytch wrote the guidelines for the one for men
Let the women have what they need and are free to get their frustrations about black men off whenever they need.
But Black men? Gotta have Big Mama overseeing so you nikkas don’t get outta line
A joke.
