With WWE's PPV landscape changing so drastically with the launch of the WWE Network, it will be interesting to see how much WWE is willing to spend on big returns like those of The Rock.

For his past couple WrestleMania matches, The Rock was paid a percentage of the event's revenue, which is tied into PPV buys, as opposed to a guaranteed amount.

In past interviews, The Rock has noted he would be interested in returning to WWE if the deal was similar to his past deals, but with PPV revenue taking a hit due to the Network, it might be impossible for WWE to spend that much money on a name like The Rock.
