Thought I knew his work but after his death, went back and revisited his “score” era (mainly 1960s until about mid 70s) and gotdamn. So many genres touched and the arrangements are *chefs kiss*

I was disappointed until I looked up the team at harbourview. That's as black as a company as you are going to get.

Id prefer the joneses keep and manage the assets but based off my brief research this is good.

I was shocked when I heard an interview from Stephen Spielberg stating that Quincy was prolific and he owned all of Quincy's Jazz albums :dahell:

My introduction to him was Thriller :pachaha:

Quincy Jones had number one hits with Lesley Gore in the 1950s. Folks really undermine his legacy when they limit it to Michael Jackson. Michael Jackson begged his label to work with him not vice versa.
