RIP to bro. Thank The Most High i quit drinking hard liquor over 10 years ago. I knew an elder they died due to alcohol. shyt gave him the shakes really bad. Kick the bottle while you can.
She knew that HEAT was coming for her.And Claudette Ortiz just deactivated her Instagram account. I was literally on it 5 minutes ago, and now it’s disappeared.![]()
They be so bad tho but I done literally had to curse one out and that might be the only girl I've ever called a bytch to her face. That NY ass attitude and her style just rubbed me wrong. Thankfully, I took a trip to Times Square and Harlem and realized, I love NY women. They are cool and don't sound like NY rap mixtapes like Uncle Murda and Stack Bundles. PR women and Columbian women were pressure in the early 2000s. It was unique and different at the time and they were Black but they didn't fully look it. The uniqueness was their selling point. This is before we got the lattos of the world in bulk like today. Honestly, a good looking sista dominated but you know how we nikkas are. It's the new kid in school effect. These pr hoes be robbing yall, fukking ya mans, setting yall up, egregious shyt, and you talking about how her hair smell. Boy, if you don't stop.![]()
Yup. Dated a Dominican from Washington Heights when I worked in NY. The most tempestuous relationship I’ve ever had. They be so bad tho but I done literally had to curse one out and that might be the only girl I've ever called a bytch to her face. Everything.
I didn’t like the composition of the group (two dudes, one girl felt weird)
I didn’t like the subject matter of the song…is this a dance song or a sad song?
I didn’t like the way that they dressed.
I didn’t like the way that they danced.
I didn’t like the way that the dudes sounded when they rapped the chorus like they were trying to be all hard or some shyt…“What would you do if ya son was at home!?!?“
I don’t know…I just found the song to be VERY irksome.
In fairness, I was fresh out of college and new to NY. I’d never met a Dominican/PR until then. I’m not gonna lie, I tolerated a lot more because I was young and naive, not because she was mixed.I grew up with them, they ain't that bad. The few yall focus on be bad, just like the few every other woman yall focus on be bad. The regular ones be regular, just like everybody else.
You accept bad behavior- at best, scandalous; at worst, felonious- because they highly mixed.
I don't like to pick on yall about this, but it's legit crazy to sit here and watch yall shyt on Cardi for robbing nikkas and still be like, "...but."
The bad ones were bad and you gotta remember, it was different. We watched exclusively Black TV outside of a few white shows. We grew up wanting Laura, Halle, Tyra, and Fancy. We wasn't seeing Columbians and Dominicans like that till the 2000s. All we love was our sistas but best believe, if something different popped up, we was like, nikka, you see thatI grew up with them, they ain't that bad. Indeed. We all know that was the root of the problem. He was already drinking but that put him over the edge
I won't belabor the point, but, let us recall, we're in a thread about a bm who drank himself to death having this conversation. I'm absolutely not saying it's her fault, he was already drinking.
I'm saying, yall got waylaid by this bytch in the middle of a memorial thread. That's bonkers. rs.![]()
