The same way the Baltimore Ravens/Cleveland Browns did it.

Yep.. The new Seattle Sonics will have all the Kings history and records (Webber's number will probably hang in the rafters in Seattle)

OKC has all of the old Seattle records and history...

Kendrick Perkins had to change his number from 43 when he came to OKC because it had been retired for Jack Sikma in Seattle...

Well, the Winnipeg Jets came back but they changed their uniform. I think they weren't allowed to use the old Jets emblem for legal reasons.
Minnesota Wild was not allowed to be the North Stars when they got a team back.

But oddly enough, they would be in King County Washington so it would be interesting if they called them the King County Kings.

:snoop: The NBA handled this horribly. The records should stay in the original cities. This ain't the 60's/70's where teams moved around a lot.

This would be the 5th move in the last 12 years and we don't even know if it stops here.

Grizzlies from Vancouver to Memphis
Hornets from CHA to NO
Sonics from SEA to OKC Thunder
Nets from New Jersey to BK
Kings from SAC to SEA

Watching the ABC affilate here in Sacramento right now. Word is that the Maloofs wanted to have control how the team is ran? :mindblown:

How are you wanting to sell a team for $500 Million and think the new owners are going to let you still call the shots?

Welcome to the fukkery that is the Magoofs Seattle.

Kinda strange how C-Webb is basically going to be erased from history.

Michigan? Nah
Drafted by the Magic, but never played for them
Only played the rookie season with Warriors before being out
Bullets? They are now the Wizards
Sacramento? Nah
:flabbynsick: on the 76ers, Pistons, and second stint with the warriors
