When stories boil down to he said, she said, you're not going to present a strong case by saying "I lied about my age, but then I got uncomfortable and showed him my ID".
We have one mutual fact, she presented herself as a 19 year old. He will no doubt dispute her providing confirmation on her age. Due to the presumption of innocence, she will have to prove that he knew of her age beyond reasonable doubt.
Other shyt is unsavory but it doesn't demonstrate coercion. He had rules but what was the threat for noncompliance.
Think part of why they dragged the case out for so long is so that they could essentially imprison for 2.5 years. Similar to Bill Cosby.

Isnt that about how long he’s been locked up? Either way I do recall them saying they had a video with footage of him with an underaged. I would of assumed that would be a slam dunk. But literally every time I’ve seen a case where they toss charge after Charge to stack the sheet it usually means they don’t have the silver bullet:

I don't think it is that straightforward.
The reason why they have a high conviction rate is due to their tendency of only pursuing cases when they have strong evidence.
The move to imprison R Kelly was political which may have impacted the due diligence they usually carry out when gathering evidence.
We will see.
Unless he's on video confirming that he knew their age, it is not going to be a slam dunk.
