Watchmen Animated Feature Coming from Warner Bros.?

They already got the, theatrical, director's cut, ultimate cut and motion comic. Seems redundant:

Why? I'm indifferent, but people haven't liked Watchmen since the original comic book series. Not sure why DC keeps trying to make it a thing and its own franchise.
