Not sure if yall are interested in the article itself but the synopsis of it, is that a new Black female doctor doll is apparently the new hot thing even amongst non Black children. Never heard of it before today but she's called "Doc Mcstuffins".

For those of my coli brehs with a young daughter or a young girl in their lives period I think this would be a good doll to buy to uplift our young women. Much better than them playing with CAC dolls and ruining their self image.

She's latin, and according to the article does about 12 billion dollars a year in sales. Doc Mcstuffins just did 500 million last year, but I never even heard of her before today. I just bought my god daughter some of her stuff.

I'd rather have my daughters having dolls that look them instead of giving them something else and growing up hating themselves...kids at that age aren't aware of the doll test...or eurocentricism...or white supremacy.

Little things like that can corrupt kids and give them issues with their identity...representation matters.
