Come on now, all the players knew who Chadwick was and some of them knew him personally. A lot of people our age who ain't into politics like that didn't even know who Ruth Bader Ginsburg was. The NBA has zero responsibility to hold a special memorial to every fukking dead person.

If they want to mourn her, they should mourn her failing to retire while Obama was president and putting us in this fukked up situation to begin with. :francis:

Fox News already trying to use her statement to dunk on the NBA:

ESPN's Rachel Nichols dunks on NBA over lack of Ruth Bader Ginsburg tributes

This bytch has been outta pocket for a minute. But no one wants to say anything because she's a white woman AKA the most protected group, and will be accused by Simps of "hating women "

I ultimately blame the players who gave this dumb bird a platform. Now she mad comfortable with the feet up

Because then they have to start having RIPs for a bunch of republicans too. Too many white people, on both sides, still don’t understand that the theme of the NBA is not political. It’s human rights. If they are gonna do something, her body is barely cold yet, let it go a month and they might honor her like they would honor other judges.

They are both trying to make it
political :snoop:

shyt sounds like “Why does black history month not contain... *insert random white person who wasn’t evil*”. Or “What about white history month”

While it's disingenuous to ask why an 80-something Supreme Court Justice isn't getting the same recognition as a (in the grand scheme) young black man playing an iconic role, I don't think this deserves outrage unless RBG was :mjpls: herself
Ever since the Floyd fiasco and Derrick rose i never liked this woman
What did she say about Floyd?
