I saw this alt right account on Twitter today that kept retweetong videos of black men attacking people. I then scrolled down a bit and seen the same account excited about being able to basically use artists voices or their recreeate their samples to make new music.
Are there any artists looking at the way they can protect their music's intellectual property (samples and voice) ? Racist CACs been especially interested in changing music history recently, and AI might help them do that

This is silly tho. You can't profit off of your bootleg clones. The labels would shut you down and steal your profits if you used the artist names which they have trademarked and put under contract.

The general public doesn't care about your clone either, cause they want something authentically made by ABC musician. So your Kanye clone may have better bars but it ain't Kanye. Effectively the same issue adidas had trying to offload his shoes without the original man.

I'm with the first Twitter poster. Am I missing something? This just seems like a party trick at best

You can. Like I said the racist CACs from ***** got plans already to clone some music and make it to where you can't tell what sample it came from. Yall faking this WAY too lightly and we technically should be making these conversations public. Black artists gotta find a way to protect their I.P. asap. Racist cacs been waiting for this moment. Never seen so many MAGA accounts all of a sudden interestd in hiphop and jazz.

But they can't do it to music or musician backed by a label. You can easily verify whether ABC musician made something by going to his label website. The value of the music is authenticity, not the sound. It's no different than some cheap coverband making something inauthentic but being unable to monetize it .

Racist cacs are irrelevant to record label lawyers. I suppose they can deepfake to their heart's content but they can't profit off of it without universal, or Sony music greenlighting it. The literal name of these artists is trademarked so you couldn't even put something like this on Spotify with Kanye's name next to it

Tbh a lot of this can be Regulated. My main problem is that ***** CACs are hard at work learning this shyt while I don't really hear black artists or black leaders really talking about this. AI about to change the game in a bad way for us.
