Have you ever noticed whenever someone (usually a cac) makes some sort of snide/slick ass racist remark, and you call them out on their bullshyt, they somehow try to shame you for it? You know, as if YOU were the one in the wrong.

Further, did you ever notice how we sort of have to be "polite" when calling out racist a$$holes, yet somehow these apologist motherfukkers fail to notice that racist a$$holes have free-reign to behave how they want, and don't have to be "polite" in the first place?

God forbid you call them out, because suddenly you're "angry", "unruly" and all the other negative stereotypes that they were going to think about you off the jump anyway.

IMMIGRANT TETHERS
The worst is when they try to make you look stupid by saying we're bringing up the race card. That's these fukking a$$hole's go-to phrase when we call them out on their bullshyt. It's not only the hypocrite racist white folks, but the white apologist black people too. One thing I hate more than racist white people are the shec00ns that take up for them.

Agreed, but it's not just black apologists either. Apologists can come from any background...and yes that shyt is infuriating.

To see people of color making excuses for the people that historically oppressed them, and to then turn around and make it like only black people make a big deal out the issue. :wow:

These people lost, breh.

These are the people that tell you to "calm down" or otherwise don't want you to rock the boat. They expect you to essentially sit there and get bullied.

Meanwhile, the a$$hole has free-reign to shyt on you however he sees fit.

I've decided that I won't care about what these people think about me anymore when I defend myself because these same people didn't think much of me in the first place due to my black skin to begin with.

Don't wanna get called on your bullshyt, don't be a racist a$$hole.

:birdman:

In other news, I need a counter to that whole "race card" argument...shyt is annoying. :stopitslime:

Great thread. Have you checked out Abagond's blog? He deconstructs a lot of White people's bullshyt.

The r-word « Abagond

Crying racism « Abagond

Stuff POC do: restrain ourselves « Restructure!

The r-word is the word “racist”. It is in effect the n-word for white people: they get upset when you call them that and lose all sense of reason. Even on the Internet it pretty much ends any fruitful talk about race.

And yet whites are often racist and this needs to be pointed out to them. But how?

As Restructure points out in her wonderful post, “Stuff POC do: restrain ourselves”, calling acts instead of people “racist” does not help, nor does avoiding the word altogether.

...

So even saying something like “That is such a stereotype!” can get some of them seriously upset – because they know you are calling them a racist.

They get upset and then they say you are being oversensitive, that you see racism behind everything, that you are the racist one, that you are angry.

Far from being oversensitive most people of colour will hold their tongue and let things pass because whites have made “racist” such a costly word to use. As Restructure points out, you have to pick your battles.

What to you is mere description, like calling a box blue, is to a white person questioning their very character. When you are saying “you made a mistake you should know about”, what they hear is “you are a bad person”.

Another slightly off-topic discussion...why is it that colonialism/Eurocentrism manifested itself as anything anti-blackness? Seems kinda random that out of all the human groups in all of history, for whatever reason, they focus on us.

You see it in other cultures, even in black cultures. The prevailing thought: "Anything but black."

I think it's because blacks as a whole are poor no matter where you go and the overwhelming perception that the western capitalist world is just and WHITE PEOPLE today are good, moral, people and have nothing to do with the world's suffering makes it hard for many (not just white people) to believe blacks could be as poor as we are given all the "opportunities" :comeon: so they blame black pathologies and go with the "blacks are just screwed up" notion instead of thinking critically and exploring history and institutionalized racism. All of these idiots (and sadly that's the majority of people in the west) have fallen for the "Just World" doctrine.

Other races (a number of Asian nationalities especially) also choose to hate us as a way of impressing whites and "succeeding" in this white supremacist world.

Breh, you really need to check out Abagond's blog. I learned a lot from this brother. These links pertain to your question I think:

just world doctrine « Abagond

black pathology « Abagond

Teflon Theory of History « Abagond

The American media machine has also made us out to be monsters through their tv, films, magazines and news reporting that's broadcast internationally. For the last 10 years white/Jewish America has been using Hip-hop to portray us in the worst light all over the world. African-Americans are the most exploited people in the world, PERIOD.

You pretty much hit the nail on the head.

It's gotten to the point where I want to split humanity into two factions:

"Those who support white supremacy" and "those who don't" regardless of their background.

The funny thing is, you'd see quite the mixture of people on both sides. :manny:
