Keep up the good work man, he has no logical reply for any of the facts and logical arguments you are presenting.
:myman:
that nikka thinks Obama is foolish enough to stand up and say outright "Im gonna Ban guns"...In the history of this country that has never been the first step..they never start that way.its always a slow creep..he just wants to start the process...someone else will finish it.

At first it will be licencing and restriction ...then it will be "prove you need one" to get a licence and theyll keep adding until it will be illegal even to have your grandpas WW2 revolver in your home

I'm glad you enjoyed the video, I've tried to burn a few copies and give them away for the last few years.

As for ghost gunner, never heard of it. I don't have much faith in the 3d printed guns right now, more novelty than anything from the last stuff I saw. When you can print with metal that can then be hardened so you have a useful firearm, I'll be more interested.

could be handy if need be...but it's very compelling

CNC ‘Ghost Gunner’ Machine Forges Path for Homemade AR-15 Rifles

Cody Wilson and Defense Distributed are currently selling their “Ghost Gunner” CNC machine for $1,500.00. It forges a path for Americans to make homemade AR-15 rifles in their garages, basements, or anywhere else they wish to set up the compact CNC machine.

I never heard of that, now that is what I'm talking about.
I was thinking off getting some 70% lowers, but I would need a mill and lathe and I don't know anything about machining.
This though, this is definite future buy for me, especially if people start loading different blueprints like SCARs and etc.

Seems a little bit of us are hear and proud gun owners, but only a few judging by some of the gun thread.

Just wanted to post articles and videos detailing the racist origin of gun control in the US and how despite liberals talking about guns being a danger to black americans (ignoring the war on drugs and the violence it generates), its in black americans best interest to arm ourselves.

I'm also going to post an article that I read today that details the benefit private gun ownership had for black americans during the civil rights movement.

The Second Amendment’s role in the Civil Rights Movement.
FrederickDouglass-credit-LOC.jpg

"I'm alive today because of the Second Amendment and the natural right to keep and bear arms." So declared John R. Salter Jr., the civil rights leader who helped organize the legendary non-violent sit-ins against segregated lunch counters in Jackson, Mississippi, in the 1960s. As Salter recalled it, he always "traveled armed" while doing civil rights work in the Jim Crow South. "Like a martyred friend of mine, NAACP staffer Medgar W. Evers, I, too, was on many Klan death lists and I, too, traveled armed: a .38 special Smith and Wesson revolver and a 44/40 Winchester carbine," Salter wrote. "The knowledge that I had these weapons and was willing to use them kept enemies at bay."

Salter was not unique among civil rights activists in this regard. Anti-slavery leader Frederick Douglass called a "good revolver" the "true remedy for the Fugitive Slave Bill." Civil rights icon Fannie Lou Hamer said, "I keep a shotgun in every corner of my bedroom." Rosa Parks once described her dinner table "covered with guns" while civil rights activists met for a strategy session in her home. Martin Luther King Jr. carried guns for self-protection, applied for a conceal-carry permit (denied by racist white authorities), and once declared, "the principle of self-defense, even involving weapons and bloodshed, has never been condemned, even by Gandhi."

In the wake of this weekend's horrific terrorist attack in Orlando, Florida, gun control advocates are pushing for greater restrictions on gun rights and for greater limits on the scope of the Second Amendment. Their arguments necessarily focus on the evil deeds done with the help of guns. But as the statements quoted above plainly demonstrate, guns have also played a profoundly noble and beneficial role in American society. As we debate the costs of the Second Amendment in the coming days, let's not forget to tally the benefits.

If anyone wants to use this threaad to further discuss, specifically gun control I hope we can do that

I don't know about this whole lib/conservative debate regarding guns. The conservative demagogue Ronald Wilson Reagan was the one who disarmed the Panthers and sicced 12 on them. You are fooling yourself if you believe the NRA or conservatives defend that second amendment to benefit black folk. Don't fall for these right wing tricks brehs.

I'm not a republican. I don't like Reagan. I'm not a member of the NRA, nor would I be classified as a conservative politically.

If you have something to actually say to me about my beliefs, about my support for the 2nd amendment and a armed populace. Please feel free to ask a question and I don't mind having an informed conversation with you.

You mentioned liberals lamenting the negative effects of guns in the black community. I waned to make it clear conservative Repubs are responsible for much gun legislation to disarm blacks, despite their theoretical opposition.I never accused you of any political or ideological leanings.

Yes I do mention liberals, because as of now it isnt conservative pro-gun groups arguing that gun restictions will help the black community.
As a matter of fact I hear more from the repub/conservative leaning groups in the last 10 years arguing that increase in legal ownership will benefit blacks, even if they have questionable motives behind their saying it.

We don't have to deny the fact that for the last 20 years the biggest camp for civilian disarmament are liberals, maybe saying progressives would suit you better?
