I think teachers with racist beliefs is an insidious but significant problem here in the US. You can't tell me that a teacher who believes that blacks are inherently inferior won't, even if subconsciously, treat our children as if they are less capable or intelligent. And we all know kids pick up on how they are expected to act and behave accordingly. Scum like this ex-teacher is having a deleterious effect on the self-esteem of our youth within the same system that we trust to educate them. fukk him and people like him.
