Wild shyt. In pre Trump era, racist or insensitive comment by public official almost always lead to a resignation. Nowadays these devil dig in their heels.

Ms Alcy made an interesting point in the first vid @2:17 , about the difference between the white voters and non white voters in that town, and one of the reasons they have the upper hand . Despite no longer having the majority of the voters.

Political evolution and maturation of different communities has to be sped up. I hope young Sis in the video, and her generation pick up on this. She stopped just short of saying "We are not our parents" when she said that people in her age range "speak out".
Hope they don't become hashtag warriors, and think social media activism equals political power in real life.
