long before hypebeasts were a thing and the culture was pure this gem spoke on what it was to cop off the rack and design your own look. he's just naming fly shyt most people would sleep on today. one of the best odes to sneaker life.





this album was unfairly hated looking back and it has some deep cuts.

100 rounds might be the weakest joint on the album and I don't know why it was a single. it really didn't set off the appeal for the album the right way.

This was a good business move for Raekwon, as I think he took the executive producers reigns from RZA and he put on another crew (American Cream Team) to try to shop a deal for.

So he probably ate well from it, on the front end.

Album was pure TRASH, though. Ego convinced Rae that he could make another classic album, on his own.
