Meth and red also have great live chemistry and albums but imo meth leans too much into the redman style and vibe on mef n red and not enough og meth style.

AZ & Nas, then Ghost & Rae. Ghost and Rae play better when there's a 3rd person. Nas and AZ just are natural and hit a homer every time.

I'm surprised Mef & Red are so highly liked. Other than their live shows, musically, Mef turns into Reggie pt 2 for their tracks/albums, which brings the quality down.

Quick question - did any other hip hop duo do the back to back rap Styles P and Jadakiss are known for before Rae and Ghost? Cuban Linx is the earliest that I can recall hearing that style

Reason they work so well together is because they’re almost like polar opposites in terms of style - Chef is lower register and flows like water, Ghost is higher register with top tier delivery
