When the whole "Simpsons predicted Trump being President" thing became a meme in 2017, I had to explain to a lot of youngins that for ages Donald Trump has always been an attention whore who talked about running for President. People made jokes about it all the time.
Still it's remarkable the Simpsons got the whole "waving down an escalator" thing and these guys new exactly what a bombastic, fake patriot "Trump for President" sign would look like.
