They might want to holler at JaMarcus. It was once though Al passing could be the only thing to help the Raiders, I guess not.

Oakland Raiders quarterbacks ripped by reporters - NFL.com

We try not to overreact to offseason practice evaluations. After all, as Pittsburgh Steelers coach Mike Tomlin said, it's just "football in shorts." But sometimes we see practice reports that we just can't ignore.

Tuesday in Oakland was one of those days. The Raiders quarterbacks are not capable of performing basic tasks at this stage, according to various reporters present for the Raiders' first day of minicamp.

From Steve Corkran of the Oakland Tribune: "In 19 years covering the NFL, today's showing by Matt Flynn, Tyler Wilson, Terrelle Pryor and Matt McGloin rates as one of the worst in memory."

An Associated Press reporter started an article with what he saw out of the Raiders' passing game: "Batted balls. Wounded ducks. Interceptions. Passes into the turf."

From the San Francisco Chronicle: "It was the opening of duck season, er, the Raiders three-day minicamp, on Tuesday as the team's top three quarterbacks picked up where they left off in the team's organized workouts the last month."

And ...

"On two straight throws, starter Matt Flynn lobbed two wounded ducks downfield -- and they were the plays of the day," Vic Tafur wrote.

It appeared the quarterbacks struggled equally, although the practice reports about Pryor were particularly negative. He had four passes batted down on Tuesday alone. Flynn said all the batted balls were "nerve-wracking."

The Raiders are professing patience publicly because they have to. "I don't allow that to frustrate me," coach Dennis Allen said. "I understand where we're at in the season."

It sounds like what we heard from the Raiders' offseason practices one year ago.

I still think if they let Pryor play without forcing him to be a pocket passer,he has a shot at being something. Especially as the season goes along and all the game/practice reps helps his mechanics. The more tape he has to watch, the more he can view and correct his mistakes.

their roster top to bottom is one of the worst ive ever seen. raiders under 5½ wins is a big bet for me. how in the fukk they get to 6 wins is beyond me

If you follow the raiders you'd realize Reggie has cleaned up the cap mess we had. We all know we gonna suck balls this yr but next yr with another top 5 pick and huge cap space :blessed: We are on the right track

A profession team with 4 qbs that cant complete a pass in pratice is on the right track? :pachaha:

I love the raiders too but :comeon:

they might as well run the option with pryor and DMC

bu..bu..but Al is the problem. It'll be different when hes gone

Al didn't do shyt for a decade breh. He was great and innovate, but he quickly became Vince McMahon status. He was too senile, motherfukker was out there signing Deangelo Hall, Javon Walker, etc. to mega deals. :mindblown: And lets not talk about his draft fukk ups and don't even get me started with that Moss trade and mortgaging the Raiders future on a yearly basis leaving the Raiders with: no cap space, draft picks or future, which we have all 3 of those things NOW.

49ers fans care about the Raiders more than they care about their divisional rivals. We havent been relevant in over 10 years and opposing teams still cant keep our name out their mouth. The Raiders are the Lakers of the NFL, people love to hate us and whether we are winning or losing they cant stop talking about us :bryan:
