I need to see this dude throw more timing and intermediate routes but I'm encouraged by Pryor's development nevertheless.

Dude regressed something serious after the first couple games.

He's not starting material at this point. I think he goes through progressions too slowly and doesn't make enough anticipatory throws. His pocket presence could use some work too. Rather than completely rolling out of the pocket, Pryor needs to manipulate it just enough to escape pressure and make a good short/intermediate. If and when things break down or he gets heavy pressure, he should take off like Wilson. All that aside Pryor has made good progress since last season and should continue getting better.

I'm afraid he'll get released if the Raiders draft a qb...which they probably will.

Norfeast groovin…
I told yall he shoulda stayed on the bench, he needed more time to get his passing game sharp. If that idiot reggie was worth a shyt he would of kept Flynn to be the whipping boy and let the team tank while evaluating the current talent moving forward into this offseason when our cap is wide open. If Lane Kiffin's doppelganger Dennis Allen came with a brain he'd seek the best QB coaching possible in order to mold Pryor into a great passer. Can some billionaire just buy this fukkin team already? :why:

I don't no if he couldn't grasp the playbook or they just didn't have confidence in letting him run the whole playbook, but the was cuffed by play calling something serious.

Don't think that would have worked.

Not really sure how to gage pryor because...

His starting running back misses about 1/3 of the season on average...

Who are his receivers again?

Oline is average at best when it comes to pass blocking...

Can't tell if they don't trust Pryor or the OC is that unimaginative...but he was seriously handcuffed by playcalling last year...

Dude is still a project at best

So with better receivers, better oline and rb, TP would be more accurate and make better decisions? I don't think so. But even if he is....why would Oakland upgrade the line, receivers, rb, etc to see if TP could be competent?

Hard to complete passes when your receivers suck...ask Cam...I've seen Ginn and Laufell drop a ridiculous number of passes in just the 5 panther games I watched

Hard to complete passes with a bad oline...ask the likes of david carr , sam bradford, Vick and Foles last year

Hard to complete a pass when your supposed star RB is injured a ridiculous number of games and the defense can just pin their ears back and go after the QB cause you got some random 9th round rookie in mcfadden's place

Again, Pryor is nothing more than a project...but who was the last QB to be successful in Oakland? It's not like Oakland had a string of good QB play and Pryor came in and struggled...Oakland has had bad QB play going on a decade now...i don't think anyone could be so unlucky as to just end up with 5 bad qb's back to back...I don't see how you can say Pryor is bad when he is surrounded by guys who haven't accomplished much of anything in the league

terrell biggest problem was OHIO STATe

look at troy smith look back and stanley jackson

them dudes was athletes and not QB and they never was given a chance to become actual passers which led smith and pryor both to become years behind these other QB and eventually out the league
