yeah, I listened to his book. Eric B submitted his solo album and the label wasnt feeling it so he wouldnt sign off on Ra's project and the budgets were tied together. so Ra couldnt do shyt.

Eric B suggests they fulfill the obligation by both doing Solo's and the 3rd be collaborative. That way each will keep more money by doing the solo's and come back together for the 3rd...

To do the solo, each had to sign off on it. Ra signed off on Eric's who wanted to go out first, but disappeared when it was Ra's turn. Ra looked for him for months and nothing. Label stopped Ra's money.

Eric surfaces and says he didnt want to sign off because he thought Ra would eventually go solo and leave him out.
