i refuse to conform
that seventh seal shyt was trash

fire burns in me eternally time's eternity
Followers turn on me they'll be in a mental infirmary
Determinely advance technology better than Germany
Since the first days you know of, till the last days is over
I was always the flow-er, I made waves for Noah
From a compound, to the anatomy, to the breakdown of a atom
Some of my rap patterns, still surround Saturn
From the ancient hieroglyphics, to graffiti painted pictures
I study I know the scriptures but nowaday ain't it vicious
Date back I go beyond, check the holy Qu'ran

I think Seventh Seal was a great album. It's not trash at all. I don't think I consider 18th Letter a classic either even though it's dope. Ra's last classic album probably the last Eric B and Rakim joint.

All of Rakims classic albums had Eric B's name next to them. 18th Letter was hit and miss but the songs "New York" and "Who Is God" are classics.

good album, maybe overrated due to how long it took for him to come with a solo release

lol@ the 18th letter NOT being a classic....sure felt like it in 1997....shyt has no skip tracks, production by pete rock, clark kent, premo, nick wiz and rakim was still in his lyrical prime, went plat.

Seventh Seal is a decent joint not classic but it grew on me

IMO... if you can still discuss an album 16 years after it was released its a classic..

not necessarily. you have fans that just wanna discuss what they wanna discuss on here. Its Rakim for god sakes... so I get why he is still brought up
