Damn this album is supremely underrated. Probably in my top 3 favourite Rakim albums, and that includes the first four with Eric B.

Hearing Rakim over more refreshed beats is a glorious listening experience.

7 albums and only one of them was meh, Rakim truly mastered the 80s and 90s

I was listening to the album today. When I listen to the second verse of "Waiting of the world to end", I just think of all those chicago kids chief keef type wilding out.
Such a great track with dope lyrics. As un underground head I am glad Primo scratched an obscure artists such as X-Perado.
This track was my shyt when I was a youngin, love the lyrics.

yo, wtf voted 2nd an 3rd? ahaha. NO way is the master better than his first 4 albums. NO way no how. hell no. I didn't like those beats Clark Kent was giving him, but Ra chose them. Primo's 2 beats( waiting for the world to end & when I be on the mic) are obviously the best 2 on the album. This album isn't as good as the 18th Letter. Ra was cursing a lot on this though. He was willingly letting those F words fly
