He didn't say anything profound...
He basically said that some Black men date/ marry non-Black women because they were always open to dating/marrying out prior to meeting whoever they are currently with in so many words..
He also said that Black people who only date and/or marry within their race will be the same even if the become successful meaning that he doesn't believe that Black people will automatically date/marry out should they become successful.
Truth of the matter is that people pick and choose their partners for a host of reasons. Some people are more open to expanding their dating/marriage pools than others.
Big deal!
At the end of the day, there is no need to insult a whole demographic based on bad experiences with a member of said demographic.
If a person finds someone who genuinely cares about you, then rock with that and keep other people who isn't doing anything to you or for you out your mouth!
At the same token, a person shouldn't have to accept disrespect from someone who isn't doing anything for you nor care about your overall well being either...
