I mean there's really no doubt they're taking Goff right? This Wentz thing has felt like a smokescreen from the jump...
Either way it's a dumb pick at #1, but I would bet it is Goff who they take. The whole him being from Cali story adds into it. Boy, to be white and QB in the NFL. Ridiculous. My boy Tyrod Taylor can't even get a good contract like sorry cacs like Fitzpatrick trying to get.

This is factual, and I will have to deliver the ether later because facts don't lie. When you have to use a caveat such as his drafts in the past ten years, you know your argument or lack thereof is garbage. Cherry-pick so you don't have to include players such as Mankins, Seymour, and Wilfork as All-Pros, brehs.:scust:.

This is an older article, but facts are facts.

2000-2012 Patriots Draft Analysis

Not to mention that if you are going to talk about the use of draft picks, then you must factor in trades made with those picks for established players.
If you are cheating at a high level like the Pats do, it doesn't matter who you draft. :yeshrug:

I'll freely say I'm a BeliGOAT defender, and I'll respond later, but I'll leave you with this for now.

1. Where do the Patriots generally pick with their first pick if it isn't wrongfully stolen from them?

2. What have the results been since Belichick arrived in New England for draft picks inside the top 20?
1- I agree that pats compared to most other teams got worse draft positions

2-the results were decent, but not amazing, since pats rarely got a pick inside top 20. why cant we extend this to first round as a whole though ? theres no difference between 20 and 21 or 24, really

again, Im not saying beli is bad at drafting, but saying hes the best draft guy...is going way overboard with stanning breh

Russell in the 3rd Wagner in the 2nd, Sherman in the 5th, Kam in the 5th Baldwin Ufa shyt all over beli
Scheneider is a good one, as his FA/trades have been terrible besides Marshawn, but his drafts were in general amazing (and even then he completely missed like a whole draft). if he didnt hit on those drafts and able to build a juggernaut hed prolly been fired for those FA/trade moves.

I'm hearing the Rams owner, Stan Kronke, doesn't want us in his new stadium. Don't be surprised if the Raiders to Vegas gets real with Jerry Jones backing it:yeshrug:

Man if my raiders move to Vegas I'm seriously considering moving there. My fav team in my fav city is a sign I should be there

I chose past 10 years as a round figure. I didnt cherry pick. the world lives in a decimal system. we could do last 20 years, but beli wasnt around that long and he didnt hold that kind of power at the beginning of his time in NE either

so fact is the pats drafted 3 players who were all-pros in last 10 years. one of them is a kicker. one just retired.
over last 10 years, many teams drafted more than 3 players who were all pros. again, facts.

I love Beli as a coach and consider him the GOAT but drafting is his weaker side. one of those times he couldve just drafted BPA instead of trading down and down and choosing from a weaker talent pool. it is what it is but I dont expect a pats homer alias to be objective when discussing any aspect of pats, so I suggest you just curve.

edit: Im not saying beli is bad at drafting. hes decent. hes just nowhere the 'best' at drafting. and its not close really

When Bill was hired he given GM powers instantly, it was a packaged deal.

So he gets credit for drafting all pros guys like Seymour, Brady, Light, Asante Samuel, Wilfork, Koppen etc

Percy and so far graham are probably his two really bad moves in trades. Fa also brought in Avril and Bennett which were huge.

Difference is Pete signs off on anything, and Seattle has no problem cutting bait when something doesn't work. Most gms won't let go of a big move because of their ego that they made a mistake
