Damn if only black wealth hadn't been lost en masse in 2008 due to unregulated banking practices enabled by the biggest ayn Rand dikkrider this side of Paul Ryan :sas2:

So who worked harder the billionaire real estate businessman or the world renowned neurosurgeon?

One is worth $10 billion and the other is worth .001 of $10 billion.

Did the real estate billionaire work 1000 times harder than the surgeon?
the real estate billionaire got lucky
Surgeons know what they are doing as a career path

how many real estate billionaires vs. surgeons?
More surgeons right? Because it's a career path chosen early in life probably

you are commenting about onesies and twosies

you mean the bankers that Obama bailed out and no one went to jail thanks to him?

that is corruption, it has nothing to do with libertarianism
it's corruption that's why and how it bleeds into both parties

America is corrupt, and to blame it all on one political philosophy is beyond stupid

Something last time I checked you still hadn't personally done.

:yeshrug:

This is what liberals always say and it never makes sense
not only does it not make sense it's quite immoral imho

Hey... that thing you are preaching did you do it???
And you may say practice what you preach, but the problem is you don't understand the preach so you aren't asking the person to practice it.
You are asking the person to practice your dumbass interpretation of said preach.

Libertarian or somewhat libertarian leaning person: If your boss is a racist or then start your own black business
Idiot: Really, then how come you didn't start one yet?

WTH..... When did he say his boss IS racist? Did you not catch the conditional statement?

Libertarian: Hmmm... it might be a good idea if the private sector built roads
Idiot: If you don't believe in the state creating roads then why do you use them? Shouldn't you stand by your belief and boycott roads?

WTH?????

This dumbass logic.... you force me to pay taxes to an entity full of red tape and corruption to build roads and now I'm not allowed to use them?
Then how will I get where I want to go?
If you we had roads built by the private sector and you are against that would you boycott those roads you dumbass?

Just giving a picture of how it is arguing with liberals
Nothing really about your exchange with dead7 really just a general pictorial view of such debates

Yeah the neoliberal Obama catered to his donor base by refusing to pressure his Wall Street raised attorney general to pursue criminal action against people and institutions that robbed 40 % of the worlds wealth. A repugnant action on his part. Irrelevant to the original point tho.

You advocate a philosophy that champions legal bribery and a government in thrall to capital. That's corruption.

Fresno, CA.

Racial wealth inequality in the United States has always been severe, with "black wealth" being more of a joke than a reality.
and IMO it will continue to be a joke til we grasp and apply some group economics.

... nothing was or is "unregulated", and Im guessing by that you're referring to the removal of specific regulation(s).
Either way a number of factors contributed to the crisis. Lets not try to pin it on one.

Other way around, it's socialists who champion bribery!
You know what elected representatives are? They are auctioneers.
Socialists create big govt and want more and more regulations., representatives vote on bills but they auction that vote off to special interests groups. This is the atmosphere that socialism creates.

In my city breh, road construction is monopolized by the mafia, it's a pretty well known fact.
Public roads need to be created, so a politician accepts a bribe and gives no bid contracts to construction companies with ownership ties to organized crime.
Mafia not only makes massive gross profit but also continuous streams of revenue by doing a sh1t ass job so they have to keep coming back.
That's corruption.

But that very real example of road construction you want to replicate that to every facet of life, from healthcare, to the environment to schooling to every service in the country.

That is not only corruption but a blueprint for perpetual corruption.

Do you dispute that libertarianism advocates a system of government in thrall to capital interests?

Also, you don't bid on contracts in an actual socialistic system breh

The “right-wing ideology” of “de-regulation”, or the free market is not to blame for setting the stage for the financial crisis of 08. It was government -- they pressured the financial institutions in general to lend to subprime borrowers because they didn't like the statistics on who was getting loans and who wasn’t. This whole notion of the free market is to blame came from Liberals in 08, because they wanted votes. Rhetoric speaks louder than facts when your dealing with leftist.
