If we're gonna keep it trill here on the Coli, then let's keep it trill.

Who was talmbout Thomas Edward Patrick Brady a an elite, all-time great QB before he had GOD MODE Randy Moss on his team and put up 50 TD's with him?

Yea he won 3 chips, but everyone who watched Brady play knew he was a part of a great team. He wasn't no John Elway, he wasn't no Peyton Manning, he wasn't even no Dan Marino despite Marino never having a ring.

Joe Flacco won a chip, does that make him an elite QB?

Brady was always good, but that's it. Then you get Moss and Brady starts putting up Marino numbers, and now all of a sudden he's elite.

Yea he put up good numbers a few years ago too, and but come on the breh had Wes Welker and two GOAT-level tight ends to throw to.

Brady was never a BAD QUARTERBACK. I'm not trying to say he was. He's always been very good, but the only time he been elite is when he had elite weapons around him. So let's not act like the fact that Brady is trash now is some huge fall from grace. Dude was never THAT great. Cats like Moss just made you think he was.

:why: this is ironic on so many levels I'm not even going to expain why and let you do the thinking first

Elway was out there carrying :trash: teams to the Superbowl years before he ever won with the Terrell Davis squad. Anyone who saw Elway in their prime and Brady in their prime and can say they were in any way equal as talents can get the fukk out this thread cause your opinion is useless.

Elway, Manning, Marino - define elite, please

what do those 3 have and what have those 3 done that puts them in the elite tier, while Tom is in the "very good tier"?

I dont oppose or agree, just trying to get more context to your argument

It's Crazy no one remembers how great the 17-1 Patriots were

They hanged 55-0 on the Redskins in a fuking Blizzard

Moss was making DB's look like shyt

I remember they had to go in Texas Stadium to play Dallas, everyone thought it was gonna be a SB Preview they beat the shyt outta the Cowboys.

First thing I look at is the eye test: Elway, Manning, Marino are three guys who could make any throw on the field. Short, deep, intermediate. They could float it, gun it, bomb it down the field. They could make every throw you needed, including Elway could run as well. I never felt that way about Brady.

Then I look at talent around them - Brady won 3 chips with a GOAT coach and defense. That's not to take anything away from him, did you ever feel he led those teams to the chip? I didn't. Elway led those sorry Broncos teams in the 80s until he finally got help in the 90s. Marino put up monster numbers on a trash team. Manning never had a good defense to play with in Indy.
