Random observations

I did not realize Busta did so many songs w/ Swizz and he got some of the best and worst Swizz shyt lol.
I feel like a handful of albums are kinda average due to questionable ass songs being on it and sequencing. Man can have a classic song and follow it up w/ some ehhhh ass shyt.
Don't know how I didn't realize til now that Break Your Neck was produced by Dr Dre.

Bruh that TEAR THE ROOF OFF is criminally bad, like Swizz owes Busta a refund for that shyt :scust:

Somebody in his camp agrees with me and must've convinced Bus to add a second track to this video.

Songs like these are a big reason I stopped checking for Busta completely for some time.

I haven't heard any album after 2002

Genesis (honestly the only album of his I can play in its entirety, his singles usually are fire but a lot of his album cuts be having me like :francis:)

It Ain't Safe No More...
The Coming
Anarchy
(probably his most uneven album, the highs are high but the lows are low. "Street shyt" and "Here We Go Again" are arguably the ugliest beats ever made)
When Disaster Strikes...
E.L.E. (save for a few tracks I just don't like the production on this album, I see y'all agree that Swizz did Busta dirty with those beats lol)

Wholeheartedly agree.

- I am in the “Busta should make more beats” camp. But “Fire” is terrible as a beat,
and worse he made it a single. But gottdamn if “Ready 4 War” ain’t one of the hardest
beats of all time.

- “We Put It Down 4 Y’all” legit sounds like Swizz went into an auto mechanics’ shop with a sampler.

- Dilla got 3 beats on there that make me feel like he told Bus “Yo - doing Slum Village and Tip album
right now, but here’s some beats I don’t want...”

- “Here We Go Again” is an ugly beat, but “Make Noise” is it’s uglier cousin.

But:

- my favorite Scott Storch beat is on there

- the strings on “C’mon All My Ni—as, C’Mon All My Bytches” is cold as fucc

- I’m gonna lose some people here but “Salute Da Gods!” Is the best opening song
to a Busta album, imo.

DJ Scratch and Nottz had the most solid beats on this album.

IMO Anarchy could've been just:

  1. “Intro”
  2. “Salute Da Gods!!”
  3. “Fire”
  4. “All Night”
  5. “Get Out!!”
  6. “The Heist” (I feel like he actually outrapped everybody else on this)
  7. “A Trip Out of Town”
  8. “How Much We Grew”
  9. “C'mon All My nikkaz, C'mon All My bytches” (could've gone with this as the single instead of "Fire", song got that "Gimme Some More" vibe... just noticed DJ Scratch did both beats lol)
  10. “Ready for War”
  11. “Why We Die” (by far my favorite song on the album, Hov didn't bring half the energy X and Busta brought and still obliterated this)
  12. “Anarchy”
  13. “Outro”

And I agree with “Salute Da Gods!!” being the best opening song, if it's not that then it's “Everybody Rise” off E.L.E.
