Jada has been a favorite since I was a kid, but his later stuff has been mostly lackluster, I think he never really found out what he wanted to rap about post 35.

In general his albums don't age well, and there is usually about 10 average/bad tracks and 6-7 really strong ones, but always bloated, and weighed down with early 2000's radio hit sensibilities. He's a victim of that, and therefore artistically, never really delivered on a major label, what the fans wanted.

Kiss of Death is the closest album he has to a “classic”. Like 4-5 songs should be removed, but it’s overall a very good album. Ignatius has a mostly mature sound and it’s good though there’s a bit of filler. His other albums though suffers from the same as most of the LOX catalog, where half the stuff is really dope and the other half feels like weak pandering for radio songs, or simply underwhelming beats.
