Rank these Nintendo consoles from Best to Worst...

GameCube had two amazing metroids, two amazing zeldas (especially wind waker), a hugely underrated Mario Subehine, Tales of Symphonia, Baten Katos (amazing game), arguably the best Mario kart, mario power tennis, and tons of third party support.

Not saying its the best, but it is HIGHLY underrated.

That and n64 are my personal goat Nintendo systems.

yeah man, this is why it's so hard for me to rank them. I'm going by how much I played them solo, with friends, and just overall fun for the fam. the fact that Gamecube had my 2 of my fave games of all time in that gen, should automatically put it at number 1, but shyt.

I remember way back in one apartment I lived in, a lot of people in that apartment owned either an N64 or a Gameboy Colour. shyt like Golden Eye, Smash, Diddy Kong Racing, Pokemon, Kirby, Mario, Turok, OOT Zelda, Mario Kart. some WCW and WWE games, we were all playing this shyt, brought people in the building closer. damn.

Wii had that same feel a little later down the line, not as great as Gameboy and N64, but it was fun in my case.

I like the Nintendo 64 (Mario 64, the Zeldas, and Super Smash Bros ), but that was the beginning of the end, IMO. That's where Nintendo developed a trend of every console having a library of 10-12 classic games that were crack, and a mostly lineup otherwise.

That said, the Gamecube is still underrated. It wasn't seeing the PS2 or the SNES IMO, but it had some gems. Metroid Prime, Resident Evil 4, Melee, Wind Waker, F-Zero GX, Tales of Symphonia, Paper Mario 2, Double Dash, etc.

I like the NES. Metroid and Zelda were surpassed by their SNES successors IMO, but the Mario trilogy, Castlevania 1 and 3, Contra, Mike Tyson's Punch-Out, and the Mega Man games still hold up.

The SNES was still the best IMO. It had the best 3rd party support, and there were classic games on it for days.
Yoshi's Island, Chrono Trigger, Street Fighter 2, Mega Man X, Super Metroid.

SNES library is only rivaled all time by PS2. It's in a class all it's own
I was thinking I should rank the Wii higher cause it was completely backwards compatible with the Gamecube but I'm just gonna go with games native to the system.
People have a lot of nostalgia for N64 but it's aged very poorly. In particular the controller is trash and near unusable now.
Gamecube has the GOAT Nintendo console controller and is the best piece of hardware Nintendo ever produced relative to the time it was released.
The Switch isn't even 6 months old yet. How the fukk can we rank that?

Handhelds are harder to rank because the backwards compatibility is a big part of every Nintendo handheld. So, it's almost like you have to include the previous generation library. Using that, 3DS has to be GOAT with that combined DS & 3DS library

Regarding the Gamecube, people don't how powerful that joint really was. If they went with normal sized disk instead of those mini disk, who knows.

And on the 3DS, it has to be the GOAT considering modding that joint gives you GB(C), GBA, handful of SNES games, Game Gear, and the entire DS/3DS line up.
