I think Ransom coul
First off, Nicki is definitely in the wrong in this particular situation. The way she overreacted and attacked him without verifying sources and just relying on TMZ is weak and shows her lack of judgment and character. Ransom hardly did anything to deserve that type of response but I do feel the line was a little "woe is me...I helped her out and I'm still stuck". This is what I mean by wanting attention. He name drops her, Ross, Wayne, French, Clue. If he was another level career wise he wouldn't be making this type of track and these are the type of songs Budden used to make all the time (and many I still like). He says he doesn't want handouts but the whole song is about how fukked up the industry is and how he's being surpassed and being the victim; he actually says he's a victim in the song lol.
Here's the video. I actually like the song and how he wrote it. His perspective does hold some weight but at the same he burned his bridge with Budden over something that could've been cleared up another way.
His connection with Budden could've helped him out with where he's at now.
