And general musical confessions. :lupe:

Everyone likes to paint themselves as very knowledgable about different types of subjects, and, particularly on here, everyone likes to act like their opinions hold weight when it's very easy to build up a fake knowledge base with time on your hands and the internet at your fingertips.

So, come on, I'll start :lupe:

1) The only 2pac album I've heard is All Eyez on Me

2) I've never heard The Infamous in its entirety

3) I've never actually heard a Stevie Wonder album. My pops bought his box set when I was a kid and that's the only Stevie I've heard :lupe:

4) In real life, I get into a lot of arguments about Kid Cudi, and I take the stance that I hate Kid Cudi but I still haven't heard his first album :pachaha:

5) Only Radiohead album I've listened to in its entirety and repeatedly is In Rainbows

add on :lupe:

The other side, otherwise
I think Eminem's "Berserk" is solid, and I was jamming to that shyt this morning in the car, tryna get pumped on the way to a race :sadcam:

I can partially defend it by saying I remember hearing Billy Squire's "The Stroke" a countless number of times over the years, and until recently always thought the hook was talmbout "Studly, studly!" Wondered why the fukk he was singin' about that shyt in the first place :russ:

1. I Think T.I. Urban Legend Album Is One Of The Most Slept On Southern Albums
2. To Me Power Of A Dollar Is Better Than Get Rich Or Die Trying:yeshrug:

Still haven't heard Reasonable doubt, Illmatic and other "classic" Rap albums. Mostly East Coast ones. I grew up in Southern Cali so thats all I knew growing up :manny:

Id rather hear Chuck D rap than Rakim prime for prime.

I still believe Eazy E was assasinated.

I am envious "To Live And Die in LA" is not "To Live in Die in The Bay":blessed:,top 10 pac record from time to time...but can't have em all:manny:

Shynes debut is classic, not personal classic but just as classic as just about anything you call classic...but I mostly credit the production and assume he had help with writing those hooks and possibly verses.

Lupe is lyrical,albums are duds.

Deathrow Crooked I was Crooked in his best form regardless what these backpackers say, swag was at a all time high:ohlawd:

I like Dru Down better than Mac Dre,but would probaly rank Dre higher off the fact the sheer ammount of material he had:blessed:...but as a rapper Dru was better, and Drus best ALBUMS were better than Dres best albums.

:lupe: tupac definitely had a message and i appreciate that, but the majority of his music is so dated i can't bring myself to play that shyt

:lupe: i've listned to all of jiggas albums, but the only ones i like front to back are reasonable doubt, black album, and american gangster, outside of a few tracks the blueprint aint shyt

:lupe: i never fukked with rakim's music(or alot of "classic" east coast nikkas tbh)

:lupe: i have never listened to a full meek project and never will

:lupe: after getting into a bunch of other genres i realized alot of these rap nikkas aint shyt creatively, so when people ask me who my favorite artist are i have to ask "my favorites in rap? or my favorites in music period :patrice:"

i doubt a rap nikka outside of doom would be on that list brehs :lupe:

MF DOOM is the best rapper IMO :lupe:

Because of Nas' horrible beat selection, I have a hard time listening to his albums :lupe:

Jay Z is "meh" to me :lupe:
