U know what I mean. Makke the cd collectors edition. Cause right now there is no fukking point of buying a CD when I download shyt free. PACKAGE the CD like a video game collector edition do and include iTunes code to download the album free. So there getting digital and CD for one price. Why didn't know one think of this. And if they make the code with iTunes they'll be getting bread from Apple for doing it exclusive with them. I should be a exec

Bruh, it aint the rappers...indie artist know how to engage with their fans with collector items with purcahse of CD.

Its the labels, they hire people that go to school and feel they are working on a "product" i guarantee if we start our own label, lets say Coli Records and 15 people drom this forum can help a Coli rapper with better marketing and publicity.

Record labels run on a primitive business model. They will be non existent.

Lets be real it costs pennies to make a CD. Maybe another 20 cents to make the shirt. ChCharge 12-15 for it and your making atleat 10 profit. Even if was only a 5 dollar profit which it definitely isnt that's 5$ more than a illegal Dow load

Costs anywhere from .60 cents to 1.30 per cd for major labels, shirts around 4 to 6 dollars. Either way, fukk labels.

i don't think comparing a cd to a video game is valid. for most folks, downloading pirated games for playstation or xbox isn't feasable.

if it were, I'd NEVER buy video games either.
