A "rapper" or known "street nikka" gets shot or killed daily
This "real nikka", "street nikka", "gang gang" bullshyt has to stop, somehow...
I have long pondered the solution to the gang problem.
The reason it's such a problem is cause we fight to the death for NO REASON.
Different gangs have beef because they live in different parts of town. "them niqqas around the corner" and your crew are almost exactly the same as each other. Except y'all live here and they live there.
But the two groups will kill each other on sight. Simply because of where they live.
If there's money involved it makes a little more sense. It's still crazy but at least it starts to add up. If they beef over a drug block, one side could bow out and potentially that could avoid/end the beef.
The only solution I can possibly see is if a warlord arose to conquer all street gangs. A ultra heavy hand to bring order to the chaos. The process seems like it would be long and bloody, but it could also go very smoothly if done right.
There will HAVE to be some bloodshed. Early on the warlord would have to utterly destroy a set that was resisting. Torture. Hanging bodies from bridges. Total shock and awe.
After that the rest might be pretty simple. Just appear in the next hood. Find the shot caller. Make them an offer they can't refuse.
Of course joining the mega gang has to come along with some food for the wolves. Perhaps they can keep up the illegal drug trade, just organize it so everyone eats and the drugs are "safe" (pure weed, coke, ron, lean or pills, no fentanyl, safe hand to hand transactions).
Eventually you'll have the mega gang and the only "opps" would be stick up kids and other trouble makers who are not down with the clique. Save any violence for people who violate (try to rob the dealers or the customers. Or otherwise go against the grain of the mega gang).
I could even see a role for street soldiers in protecting women, elderly and kids from would be abusers. Like if a domestic started popping off in the project you get a knock on the door from mega gang, not the police.
Look at crimes most associated with gangs
Add death penalty.
Expedite appeal process
Expedite execution
No more gang

Beg the white man to make all gang members rich so they no longer want to commit crime.
Gangs are parasites in prosperous societies. If a town is abandoned, the gang members don't stay behind to control the town. They flee with the prosperity to find new groups to leech from

You don't understand what's going on. Opioids flooded Chicago because of Mexican cartels and the black man is the reseller. The old guard was incarcerated so there is no structure so you have entry level gangs going through the process of power and consolidation.
The white man let's it rock because there's alot of money in seizing assets and making slaves out of criminals.
Death penalty obviously cure that but there's no money in ending the madness
