This the same dude who said on numerous occasions he likes to read books :francis:

Guess he was capping.
I’m sure he wasn’t lying about reading books, dude did like a year in prison back in the day right? So he had to pass the time doing something, dude said he didn’t read because he was broke, he admitted it was a ignorant decision and he said artists should get a lawyer. He learned from his mistakes :yeshrug:

Not surprising. Nobody reads TOS either. Most people don't read their apartment lease probably.
How many of us have pushed back on a job offer because of a non compete clause or some other small detail? Probably nobody
I personally would have a lawyer review any entertainment contract just off the reputation of the industry and probably skim the legalese myself and dig into the areas I *thought* were important

starving artist

this will never not be the case

right...and he basically said as much...his attitude was w/e was in the contract it couldn’t leave him worse than being broke...unfortunately they be wrong sometimes but the desperate situation they’re in @ the time won’t allow them to see it...especially if they believe it’s the only shot they have
