Its not always because they dont want to, sometimes its a scheduale conflict, alot of singers, especially session singers have lives of their own. i remember e40 telling me on certain songs hed get a dope singer and never ever see them again after a session. sometimes its like that.

yall wonder why in that thread thats stickied i said "im putting my industry recsources behind c-styles" because in 8 years ive learned how to play the game and try to make it work for me, im taking a gamble based on his fanbase and his reigonal appeal and im trying to multiply it by throwing my resources and connections along wiht my production.

if this shyt pays off by the end of the year im gonna keep going, if not, im seriously gonna get my teaching credential and just teach art instead of trying to live the dream the last 8 years.

that was one of the first things i ever worked on. he actually had alot of reigonal backing, i was proud because i was still in the military at the time of this being released and i contributed to some co production. that dude was like a brother to me and we were close.

yall can clown and say what you want but for me it was dope to have worked on something that was sold in stores across california.

it was a personal accomplishment, so clown or shyt on the cover if you must.

that shyt actually moved over 15,000 independent. like i said, he had a reigonal following in particular, sacramento and marin county.
