If you think you're lonely now, ohhh girl...

Was just watching this video and wanted to ask...can you teach people to finish at the rim or is that just a creativity you either have or dont have from the jump

I think it's intrinsic. Sure, you can add a floater, a particular move, etc., to bolster your finishing ability somewhat.; but, that kind of artistry and creativity, there's no teaching or learning that. I was watching a Derrick Rose highlight that someone posted on here the other day, and he made one running layup headed out of bounds against the Celtics that I have absolutely no idea how he made. How do you learn that?

dude was like 190 in his prime

Nah, in his prime MJ was around 215lbs. I know from his Air Time video from the '92 season he said he was 213-214 and he looked even bigger than that in 96-98 he might've been closer to 220 by then.

Unless you're the muscle down under the boards, you don't want that muscle. You want to work light weights to stay lean and get fast twitch muscles. The power muscles are big and bulky, weight you down, slow you down and consume all your stamina. #justmadeitup
About half of what you said is true :ehh:

Fast twitch muscles are important...

However, you don't need to be lean to have superb fast twitch muscles.... Look at football players, that is the epitome of a fast twitch sport and those dudes are bulky as hell...

and big muscles don't really slow you down or weigh you down... They're muscles not fat... when you move, they contract, they do work... not just sit there on your body like fat tissue....

That's creativity.

Guys like Dr.J, MJ, Kobe, Wade, Rose all hit those ridiculous reverse layups out of unpracticed skill. You can't practice that stuff.

While LeBron is the best finisher maybe ever, he's not hitting shots like that.

Jordan bulked up after the 1990 ecf.Bulls lost game 7 and mike was pissed and cryin on the team bus and had to be consoled by his pops and vowed that he'll never lose to the pistons again and trained to get his weight up to take the physical beat downs. He went from 198 to 213 and 96-98 MJ was 218
