Did the concept of minding your own goddamn business go extinct?
Yeah, I've never been the type to care how someone is buying food 'cause it's not business, let alone do I care that much. I'm too busy tryna pay for my stuff and leave.
Not that it doesn't happen but from my view, I find it's rare for a Black person to be that nosy caring about how somebody pays for their groceries during checkout.
Usually, CACs put all that effort into “pocket watching” somebody in line especially if the person in front of them is Black or Latino. I used to notice that a lot. That's actually one of the reasons why I don't check out in cashier lines anymore but rather use self checkout because it's less nosy and more private since nobody can stand there breathing down your shoulder tryna see how you pay for things.
That's a skit by Latrease Allen and her son. Last year she went viral for fooling people into believing she really pulled out a gun on onlookers who caught her stealing items from Dollar General with her teen daughter.
