Düsseldorf isn't Nazi central though, just a bunch of conservative racist rich people. Nazi central in the region is Dortmund, and if we're talking Germany overall it's damn near every city in Eastern Germany, Kassel and Heilbronn.

Of all the bigger cities I’ve visited in Germany, Frankfurt is one I’m least impressed with. It’s almost a cold clinical looking city, boring, doesn’t seem to have an identity or even a vibe. I’ve been there a few times, but never spent a significant amount of time because I never wanted to. Other cities in Germany are way better imo.

Düsseldorf isn't Nazi central though, just a bunch of conservative racist rich people. Nazi central in the region is Dortmund, and if we're talking Germany overall it's damn near every city in Eastern Germany, Kassel and Heilbronn.

They are not rich. That is a misnomer. It's the general poverty (and "class" divide) which leads to the attitudes. The richer people in the south are far more satisfied with their lot and are generally less screwed up.

NRW is one of the poorer economic regions and Dusseldorf is poorer than equivalent-ish sized cities like Frankfurt, Wiesbaden, Stuttgart.

Dussledorf actually lacks large blue-chip companies with a high number of blue chip jobs. Good jobs are rare and come in patches. The mere fact that WestLB ( a second rate bank ) was a premier employer in the city says it all.

The general poverty (and class system) shows up in the relative low living standards and low property prices. There is no massive incflux of professionals in Dusseldorf because it does not offer premium economic opportunity. Frankfurt, Munich, Stuttgart etc do.

It is Nazi central because of the insidious all pervasive nature of their behaviour.

ND: I should add that not only are economic opportunities worse, education is terrible, no premium universities and people are severely intellectually limited.

Du bist so eine der Erfahrung nur in eine Teil von Deutschland hat, der denkt dass das dir eine allgemeine Wissens über Deutschland verleiht.

Das hier ist keine Belehrung. Diese Fakten sind tatsächlich wahr Kumpel.

You have a spike of independently wealthy Germans around Dusseldorf and a smaller proportion of high earners. The attitudes come from the difference between this privileged group and the masses that live around them. When Germans talk about the rich in Dusseldorf the Koelners mean it from their own generally poorer point of view and the others are talking about the limited small subset of snobs.

I don't know what you do for a living but just compare and contrast the difference between professional high paying jobs on offer in Dusseldorf with the other big cities - ex Berlin and possibly Hamburg. The kind of large companies around the Dusseldorf area like Henkel have a few high-powered posts relative to their size. That is the opposite of banks (for example).

Ich verbreite meine Business nicht welt-weit aber ich bin mir schon sicher dass ich Dusseldorf kenne besser als du.

Never been but I hear it's beautiful. I visited Berlin though and it's a more chilled out city than you would think. Germans like to get their drink on.

I thought it was gorgeous clean city. Food was good. People riding bikes everywhere, plenty of public transportation.

I went to the brothels and I must say the way they ran that shyt was perfection. Dymes of every flavor also.

hit the autobahn too.
