Yeah you contribute a lot to all these threads... where are worst places (can be general areas, not necessarily towns) that you came across, in the view of living in??

As far as towns, Elmira NY and Gainesville GA are the absolute worst places I've lived, easily. North-south parallels of each other, just dumps...

Stockton has a metro of ~750,000 and is in the greater Sacramento Valley; most places that size, while it ain't a big city, it's big enough that there are redeemable qualities about it. Places like Elmira and Gainesville are true small towns and complete shytholes...

General regions that I've been to, I'm not a fan of the Mid-South (West Tennessee, Mississippi, Arkansas). Disparate, desperate area. Most of South Carolina and Georgia are garbage...

Elmira is yuck... I got family and spent early years in Scranton PA (sh1thole, but at least my sh1thole)... Elmira, Binghamton and Cortland I’ve spend time in and just awful, so feel your angst: had a cousin that spent a few years in sayre pa near there too

You can't really afford anywhere else, but you don't want to go south to fresno. The only relative that wil l let you use their address for parole lives here. Really the only two reason I can see for entering the city limits. Um, the Salvadoran/cambodian/vietnamese/ Laos food is probably good? Hot and dusty, like literal grit in the air. That's all I've got. It's still Call so I'll give it a 5.

I wouldn't want to live in those places, but I enjoyed Cortland and Binghamton. Cortland is charming, Binghamton at least felt more like a small city than a small town, little busier and more urban. Living in Elmira makes damn near anywhere look good...

Never made it over to Scranton but I've been to Sayre, hung out in Williamsport a few times. I actually really enjoy Penna, wouldn't live in Williamsport but it was enjoyable for a day trip...always heard Scranton was similar to Syracuse, which I did enjoy, so I have always assumed I'd like Scranton...

Yeah, Syracuse is a bigger Scranton, Scranton like 80,000 but everyone damn knows each other through the whole area. Yeah Scranton is cool in that people are nice and it honestly has the best bar food like wings and pizza I’ve ever had.... the city itself is just so broke (worst roads Ever, Knoxville tn comes close) and not really any jobs left.... I actually grew up in Allentown and went to school and live in philly, so I know damn near everywhere in eastern half of PA, PA outside of philly is not as bad as people here make it out to be, like Lehigh valley is cool, Harrisburg area is cool, Lancaster area etc

Knoxville has bad roads and is somewhat bland, but it's a decent place. I have one cousin there who went to UT years ago and never left, he a concert promoter and works for the school and stays flocking up IG with white broads lol...

I had an aunt who used to be the one of the accountants for the city of Harrisburg, round the time I was in NY they lived there, went there alot. Ended up in transit at DCP in Harrisburg when I was extradited from Elmira down south once...

Only passed thru Philly on my way to Jersey, never actually stopped in the city, bit people have told me I'd like Philly...
