I'm about to be working for a month in St George, Utah. Vegas is the nearest big city, and I've never been before. I'll probably only make it down to Vegas once or twice, so as a casual, brief visitor, what's the must-do list for black folk?
If you like to eat luxuriously, you can't go wrong in Vegas.. No matter the food you enjoy.

Today is that lovers and friends shyt. Not going but I'm aware...

My prevailing opinion is Vegas is overrated. It is California-lite, without the charm. Vegas' main entertainment areas are basically the same kind of theater you can find anywhere from Hollywood to Times Square to Orlando to Atlanta to Chicago to many other places. It isn't impressive in and of itself...

The lack of charm is once you leave The Strip though, LV neighborhoods largely have no gravitas, no pull. They are largely homogenous and much of the city is suburban, dusty, there's nothing interesting to look at...

I've enjoyed the experience, I've been twice since I've been out here in Utah. It isn't an unpleasant experience, but unless LV is your first big city venture or one if few, its hard to fathom anyone's socks blown off. It's okay. I give it a 5.5. Average. Definitely not above average...

I have had some cheap, some expensive best nights of my life in Vegas. I've also had them in LA, Miami, Bahamas, Mexico etc...... Vegas done right can be a amazing experience.

I fukk with it fellas, again it's not unpleasant. But if I never come here again I'm good. It's cool, it just isn't somewhere I'd put on my "must-see" recommendations to anyone...

Headed back to Vegas soon, where are the black areas specifically? Like I know most of North Vegas has high black populations, and the Westside is like 32% black. The Eastside is 11% black, ain't no black people like that in Summerlin. Is it basically NLV and Westside if I wanna spend time in the black areas?
